Steam Cannon

Steam cannons are a class of projectile weaponry which propel a slug using the release of pressurised steam. Steam cannons may be stationary, functioning as defensive artillery, or be carried by teams of cannoneers, or be affixed to ironsides. They usually take considerable time to heat up, but can be held in a primed state for as long as is needed, so long as the internal pressure is not allowed to grow too high, lest the cannon may explode.
